Hi there! Long long time no see...
But thank you so much for your comments. I appreciate all of you for still check this blog.
Well, a lot of things have happend since last summer.
The biggest occurrence was the lost of my family member.
My father fell ill in October and had been hospitalized for two months before he passed away.
I lost a good friend of mine in summer due to cancer (she was only 35), then my father in winter...
Last year was a rather tough year for me.
But it is now a spring time and things are going very well this year!
I will TRY to write this blog more often! (^^;)

- I am from Tochigi about 2 hours north of Tokyo. After high school, I went to the U.S. and graduated from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Now I live in Tokyo and work as an announcer and a stage actor.

I also had the bitterest experience like you.
Actually one of my best friends, 53 as of then, passed away last June because of lymph node cancer.
No tears came out of my eyes due to way too deep sadness.
Time is the best healer for you as well as me, I hope.
But some happy things happened to me too. My third son got married to his college's alumna last September. Now we've got our second grandchild, first granddaughter, and our third grandchild will be born this October.
Really looking forward to meeting him or her.
Last, would you update this blog a little bit more often please?

By the way, NHK World Premium was recently added to our cable service...I'm trying to read the Japanese captions but it's a li'l bit difficult since I can't recognize all characters appearing on the screen...
Anyway, I'm happy that the channel was included...
Nice to see you update the blog...but not nice to hear bad news :( I'm very sorry for you to loose two very special people in your life, I know it is so difficult to see someone close to you go through months of illness before leaving...I hope this year will be a positive year.
If updating your blog is a hassle, maybe facebook could be a simpler option? I hope you are doing well and all the best with your current endeavours!

I am so sorry about the loss of your father, AND your friend...
I am sure it takes time to process and come to terms with what's happened and pray that you are guided in doing all that and feel that you are being loved by many.
