Lovely season

I went to hanami (a picnic under the cherry blossoms) yesterday. As you may already know, cherry blossom is a Japanese national flower and everybody loves to enjoy it.
The weather has not been very good last week but yesterday was nice and sunny.

We went to Yoyogi park near NHK and it was coverd with pink blossoms and people, people, and people...

One of my acquaintances went to use the restroom and he didn't come back for more than 30 minutes! There were loooooooooooong lines.
I was glad I couldn't drink much alcohol. Otherwise, I needed to wear a diaper!!

Wow...I hope cherry blossoms are also grown here in the Philippines...I just watched NHK News 7 last night and everybody seems to be very happy by just looking at the flowers...

I just remembered the song that you aired on your farewell episode at World Interactive...And you know what, the song's message penetrates my heart deeper every single day...

By the way, I think NHK World Premium airs almost all programs aired in Japan...How come you're not able to watch those programs...?

And one thing more: are there things such as TV ratings in Japan where networks are doing everything to get audience viewership...? If there is such a thing, what network is winning this race?

Oh dear...I think my comment is longer than your post now...

:-)

Wow, those flowers are so pretty!
Although I don't have a chance to see the cherry blossoms in Japan, luckily I still can see them in Yangmingshan National Park in Taipei.

My classmates took a trip to Shirakawago, Nagoya, the other day, and they said they loved and enjoyed the scenery so much!
But i forgot to ask them whether they saw the cherry blossoms or not....

Yesterday my roomate, some of my friends and I went to JiuFen, where lots of people who come from Japan and Hong Kong love to visit, to enjoyed our spring break,

Here's the link and hope you can see the scenery here in Taiwan:

Hello Kay,

The cherry blossoms look a thousand times more beautiful this year than usual to me.
Because I've got a promotion to become a director.
When hearing somebody calling me "Director" or "課長", I'm very happy. I have 15 subordinates in the division.
I think I've got to walk, talk and act like a reliable director.
This expression is what I learned at your radio English program.

Write to you again,

Thank you for remembering my last show. The song still makes me cry...
TV ratings are done for each programs, not for the TV networks here.

JiuFen looks like a fun place to visit! I went to Taiwan a couple years ago on business, but only place I visited was the National Palace Museum. It was wonderful!!

Takashi
Congratulations!! What a year for you! Good to hear all the wonderful news of you!
