Hello!

I changed the blog site because I learned that with Yahoo the viewers also have to sign up to write a comment.

This is how Japanese hanami (flower viewing party) is like. So many people place blue sheets under the trees and enjoy eating, drinking, sleeping, and sometimes singing karaoke. (^^;)

Well, I was away for two days going to the hot spring in Shizuoka prefecture. The weather wasn't very good but I really enjoyed taking bath several times and the relaxed atmosphere.
I love ONSEN!!

I'm really glad to contact you on your blog. Your new blog is also nice, isn't it?
Now, it is time to dive into quintessentially Japanese event known as "Hanami".
Actually, I live in Matuyama,Ehime prefecture.
I went to see cherry blossoms to Matuyama castle last Saturday.
Some were in full bloom, but we could enjoy the others for another a week, I suppose.
You might know, we have a parade through the city by locals dressed in Edo-period costume around this time of a year.
And nearby is the "Dogo hotspring" Kei さん would like.
Please visit to Matuyama. If you have some time to visit here, you can get a good guide. Sure, I am!

Hi Kei!
I knew you were leaving soon but I usually like to listen to World Interactive on a Friday, and thought I would catch the final show, but the last show has been removed! I am so annoyed >:(
And for some reason the new show doesn't yet have a facility for listening on-line, which is how I always heard the show. Without this I can't tune in....
I think we should ask NHK to put the last show back up, at least for a while, or have an archive of previous shows.

Hey Kei / Kay -

I have found out your final show is still up if you do a Google search - you can find the final show here:

(cut and paste this)

I don't know how long this will last, so I hope this helps anyone who missed the show.

It has been a week since you've graduated from the radio program, hasn't it?
Actually, I listened to the World Interactive yesterday.
I'm sure new host is also good navigator.
But I'vee been your big fan.
So I was really sad because your lively voice couldn't float in my ears. In fact, I'mm an ordinary housewife. So English is not so necessary for my daily life.
I didn't know myself why I've learned English. But when I listened to your program I realized I just enjoyed listening interactive English conversation and catching the different aspect from my daily life.
Thank you again, kei さん!
I enjoy listening to your program I’ve recorded.
またね!

Hi Kay san from Georgia USA

I enjoyed meeting with you on my visit to Japan. Although, I wished we had had more time to enjoy hanami and to talk about Japan and her customs and festivals and places to go.

Sincerely,

ciao... chibi

It was nice meeting you in Tokyo. I had a great time. I am sorry that I couldn't go to Kamakura with you. Did you enjoy there and Kyoto? Hope you had a wonderful time in Japan. Come back soon!
